John Henzmann

John Beverly Henzmann Junior age 78 of Pierce Township, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, friend, and coworker passed away August 13, 2024. John was born in Huntington, West Virginia on April 11, 1946. He is preceded in death by his mother Elsie Kathryn (née Turpin) and father John Beverly Senior.


John is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dianne Lynn (née Gilkison). He is survived by his sister, Vickie Lynn Wedge. He is survived by their three daughters Kristi Ann Moschel (Scott), Molli Beth Salter (John), and Amanda Leigh McNett. He will be deeply missed by his ten grandchildren Hannah Carey, Garrett Moschel, Grace Moschel, John Moschel, Sam Salter, Lucy Salter, Annie Salter, Abby McNett, Ellie McNett, and Jax McNett.


John's life revolved around Dianne and his girls. John loved his ten grandchildren deeply. He enjoyed going to all their events and watching them grow. His grandchildren always looked to him for life advice, and he always knew how to make them laugh. John and Dianne enjoyed traveling and spending time with their dog Archie and cat Jerry.


John will always be remembered for his hard work, compassion, loyalty, advice, love, and sense of humor. He is a graduate of Marshall University College of Nursing and received his CRNA accreditation from Pennsylvania Hospital. He also received his Master's Degree of Education at the University of Cincinnati. John worked as a CRNA for 46 years and worked at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Bethesda North Hospital, and Mercy Anderson Hospital. He also served as the Clinical Director of the University of Cincinnati's Nurse Anesthesia Program.


John will be remembered as an avid sports fan of Marshall University, Cincinnati Bearcats, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. He always enjoyed the Bearcat and Bengals tailgates with his family and friends. One of his favorite hobbies was hunting with his good friend, Jim Farley.


A celebration of life will be held at Terwillger's Lodge,10530 Deerfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242, Friday August 23 from 3-7pm. John's final resting place will be at Mt.
