John Russo, Ph.D.

John M. Russo, Ph.D., age 78 of Mt. Washington, passed away November 26, 2023. He was the beloved companion of Elaine Mann, devoted step-father of Ginger Perreault, Julie Zuzolo (Mark), Tim Mann (Anne), and Michelle Mann (Bruce Newman), loving grandfather of Rachel, Mary, Sarah, Matthew, Mitchell, Jenna, Jillian, Molly, Michael, Kelsey, and Riley, adored great-grandfather of Salvio, Sephora, Leander, Charlotte, and Griffin, caring brother of the late Barbara Seminara, and uncle of Steven Seminara, Donna Harakidas, and Paul Seminara. Proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired as a Commander from the United States Public Health Services with a total of 24 years and 7 months of Uniformed Services. Funeral service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Sunday, December 10th at 4 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 4 pm. Graveside service with military honors will be conducted at Dayton National Cemetery on Monday, December 11th at 1 pm.
