Joseph "Joe" Mitchell (June 23, 1946-May 19, 2024) beloved husband of Marilyn Mitchell (née Feld) and loving father of Julie (Todd Carnell) Mitchell and Sharon Mitchell.
Brother to Tom (Jody) Mitchell, Jane Wassler and the late Carol (Tom) Mehring, Margo ( Bill) McDonald and Diane Forman. Brother-in-law to Bob (Liz) Feld and Dave (Kathy) Feld and many nieces and nephews. Passed away surrounded by his family May 19, 2024, at the age of 77.
He loved gambling at the casino and he was often a lucky winner. His motto was in order to win big you've got to lose big. He enjoyed playing poker with his buddies weekly. I know he's in the middle of a card game right now. I'm sure he has a smile on his face and is happy.
Private celebration of life will be held later for family.
