Joseph L. Luehrmann

Joseph L. Luehrmann, beloved husband of the late Carolyn Luehrmann (nee Wiegele), cherished father of Joseph (Marilyn) Luehrmann, Jeffrey (Nancy) Luehrmann, Susan (Robert) Kerrick, Maureen (Thomas) Bender and Richard (Tracie) Luehrmann, devoted grandfather of Stephanie (Victor) Fox, Katherine Potts, and Christopher Luehrmann, loving great-grandfather of Kayden, Kaylynn, Owen, Cecilia and Simon, dear brother of Paul, William and Eugene Luehrmann, son of the late Harry J. and Marie (nee Messang) Luehrmann. He was also survived by two sisters in law, Joan Luehrmann and Betty Luehrmann. Joe was preceded in death by siblings: the late Grace (Joseph) Nugent, Dorothy (Donald) Behan, Henrietta (Neal) Breier, Henry (Josie) Luehrmann, Father Stanley Luehrmann, & Phyllis Luehrmann. Passed away peacefully on Sept 28, 2023, at age 93.

Joe was an avid gardener and a lover of flowers, especially his "blue belles" that popped up every spring in his yard. He was a passionate fisherman and loved spending summer vacations in Canada on a boat fishing, morning, noon and night! He was a keen card player, and a bit of a jokester, and brought a smile to everyone he met.

Joe will be remembered with love by his family, friends, neighbors, and caregivers as a kindhearted man dedicated to his family and his faith. Joe (Husband, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Friend), you will be missed tremendously, but we are so happy that you are at peace!

Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Church in Mt Washington on Wed. Oct 4, at 10:30AM. Friends may visit at the Church on Wed. from 9-10:30AM. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
