Josephine Ansems

Josephine Maria Ansems of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away May 20, 2024 at the age of 84. She was the daughter of Jan and Gonda Ansems (both deceased). She will be greatly missed by her 2 sons Mike Snider and Chris Snider (Heather) and her 2 grandsons Patrick and Eli (sons of Chris and Heather).

Josephine grew up in The Netherlands, in the town of Vessem. She was one of 10 children and was the only family member to move to the United States. She was a nurse all of her professional life, spanning areas from the emergency room to occupational health - the latter was where she spent most of her career. She loved to garden and took pride in growing all sorts of flowers in and around her home. Her Christian faith was important to her and she attended Mass regularly.

Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Anderson Twp. on Thur. May 30, at 10:30 AM. Friends may visit at the Church on Thur. from 9:30-10:30 AM. (all times Eastern). The Mass will be available online at www.church.ihom.org (scroll down and click on "Watch Mass online")

Interment of ashes will be at a later date.
