Judy Ann Bresser (nee Martin), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, surrounded by her family, in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on October 9, 1951, to Eddie Martin and Mary Allice Lemker, Judy was the eldest of six children, taking on the role of a surrogate mother to her siblings and setting the tone for a lifetime of care and devotion to family.
Judy married her loving husband, Brian Bresser, on January 29, 1972. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. She is survived by her son, Michael Bresser, and her daughter, Katie (Chris) Snyder. Judy was the proud grandmother of Kai (12) and Dana (10), who were the light of her life.
Judy's heart was always with her family. She always thought of others before herself. She cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren and found immense joy in being a devoted wife and mother. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she dedicated her life to caring for them. Even in her final days, Judy made it a priority to look after her loved ones, embodying the selflessness and strength that defined her.
Known for her kindness, generosity, and great sense of humor, Judy brought warmth and joy to everyone she met. Her laugh was contagious, and she always had a way of lifting spirits with her sense of humor and caring nature.
Judy loved raising her children and was an active presence in their lives. She enjoyed volunteering at their school and forming connections with their friends, becoming a beloved figure to many. Her first job was at City Hall, where she not only began her professional journey but also met her lifelong City Hall girlfriends. After her children were no longer babies, she began a career at Procter & Gamble, which was another testament to her dedication and hard work, but her heart always remained with her family.
Though she spent most of her life in Cincinnati, Judy treasured the ten years she spent as a child growing up in Pompano Beach, Florida. Those memories of sunshine and sand stayed with her and fueled her lifelong love of the beach.
Judy's faith in Christ, was a source of strength, peace, and guidance throughout her journey. Her faith shaped the way she loved her family, cared for others, and navigated life's challenges with grace and resilience. Judy's unwavering belief in Christ's promises brings comfort to her loved ones, knowing she is now at peace in His presence.
Above all, Judy will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She lived her life with grace, humor, and an open heart, leaving behind a legacy of love and countless cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held on December 27th at T.P. White & Sons funeral home, 2050 Beechmont Ave, Mt. Washington. Visitation 1-2PM, with a service starting at 2PM.
Family and friends are warmly invited to gather at the Bresser home following the service to continue celebrating Judy's life.
