Judith "Judy" Moermond

Judith A. Moermond, aged 61, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, in Cincinnati, OH. She was born on June 16, 1962, in Cincinnati, to Betty Jo Schweikert (née Browning) and Robert Schweikert. Judy worked as an IT Project Manager for Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center until her retirement in 2022. She was an avid explorer; she loved to walk around Cincinnati with her friends, complete marathons, and travel to national parks. She was generous with her time and talents; contributing to her fellow Cincinnatians through her involvement in Girls on the Run, Habitat for Humanity, and the Red Cross. Judy was a life-long soccer supporter. Growing up she played goalie and eventually went on to coach local youth soccer. She was a season ticket member for FC Cincinnati since its inception. Judy is survived by her four siblings Bruce Schweikert (Terry), JoEllen McCartney, Brian Schweikert (Joyce), and Laura Wilson (Gary); her three sons Benjamin, Matthew, and Joshua (Ashley); her granddaughter Lily; and many nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and others are invited to the visitation to be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Guardian Angels Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM, all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, Judy asked that folks consider making a charitable donation to Girls on the Run of Greater Cincinnati.
