Julia Ann Brown (nee Wilk) entered her heavenly home April 7, 2021 at the age of 83. Julia was born on April 21,1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Philip and Ethel Wilk (Knoll). Julia is survived by her beloved husband Mike Brown of 37 years. They were married on June 7, 1984 in Cincinnati, OH. Julia was preceded in death by her son Steven Williams, brother-in-laws John Doran Sr, and Jay Mann. Julia is lovingly remembered by her children Kim Hacker, Keith Williams (Cindy) and step-children Piper Bogle and Robert Brown (Debbie). She was the caring sister to Kay Doran and Mary Jean Mann. The affectionate grandmother of Justin Hacker, Cody Hacker, Steven Williams (Taylor), Kayla Williams, Nicole Williams, Brandon Bogle, Alyssa Brown and great-grandchildren Owen, Dawysn, Avery, and Cameron. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Julia graduated from McNicholas High School. She was a secretary for several years at Union Carbide where she was known for her loving smile and generous heart. After marrying Mike, she became a full-time housewife and caregiver for her children and grandchildren. Julia enjoyed cooking, gardening, and putting puzzles together. She was an avid reader but always made time for her favorite soap the Young and the Restless at 12:30 pm. Her favorite by far was spending time with her husband, sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her benevolent heart and loving spirit will truly be missed by many.
Visitation will be held at T.P. WHITE & SONS Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Avenue, Mt. Washington on Monday April 12, 2021 from 9:30-11 AM. SERVICE PRIVATE. A graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 12 Noon.
