June D. Bokman (nee Seear), born June 26, 1935, and passed away February 20, 2024, at the age of 88. June passed away peacefully in her home following a brief illness with her family by her side.
June was born in Bangalore, India, to British parents. Her Mother moved back to England with her and her sisters when she was 6 months old after the start of World War ll, while her Father remained in India. They were reunited after the war and relocated to South Hampton, England, where she grew up.
She moved to the US (Cincinnati) as a newlywed and remained here the rest of her life. She made lots of trips "Home" over the years and still has a dear friend of over 72 years Norma McGowan that lives near their hometown, and she would talk to at least once a month without fail.
June had many friends and was loved by all that met her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a great zest for life.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family, Son, Steve Miller-Watt (Roger) and Daughter, Linda Sabatina (Bob), her Napa Ct. family, and her St. Timothy Family, along with her beloved cat Rose. June was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Ethel Seear and her dear sisters, Pat (Molly) Lambert and Audrey Seear.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 9th at 11:00 am, at St. Timothy Church, 8101 Beechmont Ave. 45255, with a reception directly after the service in the church hall.
