It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kelly Reese, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who left us on November 19th, 2024 at the young age of 55. Kelly was a woman of remarkable strength, humor, and love, and her absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
A proud single mother, Kelly devoted her life to raising her son, Bobby, with unwavering love and care. She was his greatest champion, fiercely protective, and a constant source of wisdom and laughter. Her bond with her grandchildren, Bree and Donald, was just as profound-her love for them was immeasurable, and her dedication to their happiness and well-being was evident every day.
Kelly grew up in humble circumstances, but she carried her past with grace and a sharp wit that made those around her smile. A master of humor, she could always be counted on for a quick joke or a playful comment, lightening the mood in any room. Her infectious laughter and resilient spirit earned her the love and respect of all who knew her.
Although she faced many challenges in her life, Kelly never let hardship define her. She was the glue that held her large extended family together, organizing gatherings, keeping connections strong, and making sure no one was ever forgotten. Her home was always open, her heart even more so. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved.
A passionate fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Kelly would never miss a game, proudly cheering for her team through every win and loss. Her love for her Bengals was a testament to her loyalty, whether it was game day or any other day, and her enthusiasm was contagious to all who shared in her joy.
Kelly was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jeanie, whom she missed dearly every day since her passing. The bond they shared was irreplaceable, and Kelly often spoke of her with both fondness and longing.
She is survived by her spouse, Donald, her son, Bobby (Jocelyn), her grandchildren, Bree and Donald, her brothers Ronnie (Shelia) and Scottie, sister, Rhonda(Alvis), seven nieces and nephews, eleven great nieces and nephews, as well as, a wide circle of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Kelly taught us all the power of unconditional love, resilience, and the importance of family. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, and she will forever be remembered for her warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
