Lowell Baker

Baker, Lowell Edward "Ed", Age 91 of Hyde Park, died January 6, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Toerner Baker, devoted friend of June Sheatzley, dear brother of Clayton and the late Sudie, Rhoda, David, Thelma, Edith, and Hiram. Also survived by 5 nieces and 4 nephews. Ed proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was a graduate of Xavier University College of Business and had a lengthy career with the College Hill Building and Loan. Ed was a member of the College Hill Lodge #641 F. & A.M. and The Cincinnati Sports Club for 24 years. He also was an avid golfer and had a true passion for bowling. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
