Lynn Dorn

Lynn Marie Dorn (nee Stolzenberg) received her wings and heaven gained an angel on 8/12/2024 at the age of 71. Loved by so many, if love could have saved her, she would have lived on earth forever. Lynn's greatest love was her husband and family. Wife and best friend of over 50 years to Daniel Dorn. Mom to Seth (Lori), Warren (Virginia), and Meghan (Brian) Eaves. Best Grammy to seven grandchildren with an eighth on the way: Lucy, Zach, Reed, Lizzy, Max, Ellie, and Russ. Sister to Ann Braden and John (Lousie) Stolzenberg. Proceeded in death by Edwin and Mary Stolzenberg.

Lynn was born in Cincinnati and attended Withrow High School. Lynn was in the Withrow band and developed her lifelong appreciation of music. Lynn was always ready to take on new challenges including running a goat farm while raising three kids. Continuing her mom's legacy of keeping Arnold's Fairyland alive shipping "surprise boxes" all over the world. Showing her adventurous side, she started two different careers after the age of forty. She was an avid gardener who tended her flower beds and gardens in her own way, what she referred to as organized chaos. She was always up for road trips or vacation with the drive there being half the adventure. Lynn would stop at every roadside oddity and attraction including the world's largest popcorn ball and The Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota.

While impossible to express in words how amazing and special she was, anyone who knew her learned she embraced life with a zest that was indescribable. They say, "life is not measured in time but in moments" and although she is gone too soon, she impacted so many people in her life. Gone but never forgotten. Forever in our hearts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Guardian Angels Church, 6539 Beechmont Ave. on Tuesday, August 27th at 10:30 A.M. with all welcomed for visitation beforehand 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. in rear of church.
