Lynne K. Schlegel

Lynne K. Schlegel (nee Klusmeyer), age 76, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away July 29, 2023. She was born August 14, 1946, the daughter of Bill and Ruth (nee Uthe) Klusmeyer. Lynne was happiest when helping others by volunteering her time to knit hats for newborns at Bethesda North and knitting dish cloths and towels for the people of Nicaragua. She also enjoyed volunteering with Stray Animal Adoption Program, crafting, and gardening when she was well. Lynne was recognized as Secretary of the Year in 1991 for the Cincinnati Chapter of Professional Secretaries International. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Edward Schlegel, son John (Diane) Schlegel, daughter Dawna Schlegel, sister Lois (Jack) Eley, nephew Scott Eley, niece Beth (Andy) Heller, great-niece Brooklyn Heller, and great-nephews Xavier Heller and Isaac Heller. Lynne was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Ethan Blair. She also leaves behind and will be reunited with many beloved dogs and granddogs. Service at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Thur. Aug. 3, at 11 AM. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thur. from 10-11 AM. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers Association.
