M. Kay Lawler

M. Kay Lawler, of Anderson Township, OH and owner of MKL Tours & Meeting Management in Cincinnati for over 35 years, passed away on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023. Born on March 30, 1951, in her beloved hometown of Speedway, Indiana, she was a proud graduate of Ball State University. Before starting her group travel business, she was employed with P&G, Kroger, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati, where she served as President from 1978-1980.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Merrill S. Lawler and Helen Crane Lawler. Survivors include her cousins, a village of close friends, and numerous travel buddies.

At Kay's request, no funeral or service will be held. Instead, her ashes will be taken to Ireland, a country she had visited over 30 times, and scattered overlooking the Irish Sea at "the place where I fell in love with a land I only borrowed for a short time."
