Margaret Lockwood

Margaret "Peggy" M. Lockwood (nee Hurlburt), age 89 of Union Twp., passed away December 18, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin A. Lockwood, devoted daughter of the late Adelaide and Omer C. Hurlburt, loving sister of Barry (Mary) Hurlburt and the late Adelaide (Walter) Klingenberg and Dr. Omer C. (Marlene) Hurlburt II, and dear aunt of Victoria, Jason, Chris, Arthur, Walter, Julie, Karen, Angela, Omer III, Michael, John, Kathy, Maryade, and Peggy. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews, great great-nieces and nephews, and friends. She was a graduate of Mt. Notre Dame High School, Mt. St. Joseph University, Holy Cross School of Nursing, and the University of Cincinnati. She was a former Sister at the Our Lady of Victory Missionary and was a dedicated Professor of Geriatric Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Church on Wednesday, December 27th at 11 am. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday from 10 to 11 am. If desired, memorials may be directed to the charity of choice.
