Marjorie Jane Nelson, age 92 went home to be with Jesus Wednesday April 10th 2024.
She retired from Christ Hospital where she was a nurse aide in Labor and Delivery and also in the Nursery. She loved what she did because she always left work feeling that she had helped someone that day. She also loved singing. She sang in the church choir for many years. She loved camping with her husband and best friends. She and her best friend would sing together out in God's creation whenever and wherever they could.
She is survived by her husband Tom of 42 years, children Ed Stricker, Kathy Leicht, Diane (Chuck) Bell, Scott (Kim) Stricker, Jack (Karen) Stricker as well as her grandchildren Brian, Greg, Amanda, Lauren, Ashley, and Lindsay. Also 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Rosanne (Maji) Maji and brother Mike Welch. She was preceded in death by her mother Carrie Welch and her son David Stricker.
A private family Memorial was held at Mt. Moriah Cemetery on Monday April 15th 2024.
