Mary Bridget Breitenbach, beloved wife of Thomas A. Breitenbach and dear mother of Kelly G. Breitenbach and William V. Breitenbach, passed away due to PCA Alzheimer's at age 55 on December 27, as she was surrounded by her loving family. She is also survived by her mother, Renate L. Gallagher, brother Martin L. Gallagher, aunt Rita Bauman , dearest friend Carla Gardella and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father William J. Gallagher. Bridget, or sometimes referred to as Mary B. by family and friends, was born in Cleveland, Ohio and attended the same kindergarten and grade school as her husband Tom, although they did not know each other at the time. She later moved to Columbus, OH where she graduated from Westland High School. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1987 and double-majored in German and international studies. She studied abroad for a year in Salzburg, Austria where she polished her German language skills. She worked as an international flight attendant, beginning her career in Boston in 1987 and moving to Cincinnati in 1990. She retired this past Fall from Delta Air Lines after 33 years. Her pride in Delta and her passion for traveling were eclipsed only by her great joy in raising her two children, Kelly and Will, and taking delight in their many accomplishments. She married her husband Tom at Sacred Heart Basilica in Notre Dame, IN, and they recently celebrated their 28th anniversary. Bridget's easy-going and selfless demeanor made her a fast-friend to many. She was a great lover of animals, enjoying trips to the local parks most recently with her dogs Brady and Buttercup. Due to COVID restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 31 at Guardian Angels Church followed by burial at the Guardian Angels Cemetery in Anderson Twp. A celebration of Mary Bridget's life will take place at a later date after COVID restrictions lapse. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hospice of Cincinnati or a charity of your choice.
