Mary Ellen Jacobs

Mary Ellen Jacobs (nee Duggan), 89, of Anderson Township, passed away peacefully in her home August 2, 2018. Mary Ellen was devoted mother of Greg Jacobs, Karen (Richard) Hartoin, Mary Beth Bailey, Mark Jacobs, and James Jacobs. She is survived by 11 grandchildren; Andrew (Katie), Nicholas (Krista), Jillian, Jennifer (Adam), Katie, Kevin, Jeff, Michael, Elizabeth (Dusty), Tami, Tressa (Matt), Brandi, Travis (Nikki), Josh (Julie), and 20 great-grandchildren; Eryn, Levi, Emerson, Abby, Ellie, Max, Emma, Khloe, Paislee, Madison, Alex, Jordan, Rayna, Molly, Gemma, Caroline, Elliott, Gavin, Sam, and Gwen. She was preceded in death by her sweetheart; Albert C. Jacobs, parents; James J. and Elizabeth Werle Duggan, and daughters-in-law; Sherry Jacobs and Nancy Jacobs. She adored the time spent with her TOPS family and lifelong friendships with her classmates of St Mary’s. The consummate host, she was known for her annual St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween parties as well as her formal tea parties; memories cherished by generations of family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Church Tuesday, August 7th at 10:30 am. Friends may visit at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Avenue, Mt.
