Our sweet MaryJane Elizabeth Whoberry passed away, peacefully, at the age of 54. Affectionately known as "Lucy" and "Who-ee". Survived by her mother Barbara Whoberry, her little sister Toni Whoberry, her nieces Hannah Jones and Aubree Diaz and many loving family members. Preceded in death by her father Frank (Hank)Whoberry.
She attended and graduated from Bobbie B. Fairfax School where she earned a diploma. She volunteered her time at Marjorie P. Lee, serving our elderly. As well as, Hamilton County Humane Society caring for animals. During this time MaryJane also earned gold and silver medals as well as many ribbons for track and field as an athlete in The Special Olympics. She went on to attend the E. Roger Jackson Center where she was employed as a piece-assembly worker. After moving to Sharonville, Ohio she attended Thomas A. Kidd Center, and performed general assembly work and continued serving our community in many capacities.
MaryJane lived a fulfilling life, touching the hearts of many with her childlike spirit and enthusiastic sense of humor. Often going out of her way to bring laughter to those around her. MaryJane was also very fond of her MANY babydolls, handheld radios, music and dancing. She was also a dedicated fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Her energy could light up any room and she made friends wherever she went.
Of her many friends in particular "Bren" Brenda Fetter who served as her faithful friend, companion and mentor for 30+ years. And close friend "Jannie" Janet Bowling who dedicated her time and love to see that she was comforted and sang to in her final days.
Celebration of Life to be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Visitation at 3:30 pm and informal service to follow at 5pm.
