Michael Brooke

Brooke, Michael Thomas born in San Diego, California on Nov. 7,1943, lost his courageous battle with Aplastic Anemia on Sunday Oct.12th. He was preceeded in death by his parents Charles & Helen (nee Lykins) Brooke. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Allana (nee Pennekamp), his beloved daughter, Melanie (John II) Doran and his much loved granddaughter, Brooke Doran. Michael was the cherished brother-in-law to Gail Sokol, Juanita & Doug Hamilton, Richard Pennekamp & Christina Ryan, John Pennekamp & Joy & Bryan Murphy. He was the beloved uncle to Thomas (Genie) Sokol, Nataie & Jason Hamilton, Summer Pennekamp & Alexandria & Patrick Murphy. In addition to his family, Michael loved boating, landscape design, basketball & U. C. Football. His love of boating was reflected in his service to his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. Michael also leaves behind many cherished friends, especially those made during his visits to OHC in Kenwood and the Jewish Hospital Outpatient Blood Transfusion Center. Services at T.P.
