Myra Smith

Myra Ruth Smith (nee Weeks), age 93 of Anderson Twp., died October 9, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald L. Smith, devoted mother of Gary (Debbie) Smith, Cheryl (Terry) Leistner, and Craig (Kristi) Smith, loving grandmother of Matthew (Shannon) Smith, Blair (Ryan) Jones, Shawn (Hailee) Smith, Derek (Jenna) Leistner, Katelyn & Marcus Smith, Kaytlyn, Elizabeth, Hannah, & Kain Carter, caring great grandmother of Clare and Max Smith, Madelyn and Meredith Jones, Nora, Josie and Bennett Smith, Kash and Kason Leistner, and dear sister of James Weeks and the late William and Donald Weeks. After graduation from Withrow High School, Myra worked for the Federal Government in downtown Cincinnati before becoming a wife and mother. She loved working in her garden and going camping with Don. They traveled for many years throughout the Midwest and South in their travel trailer. Later in life she volunteered at the Mercy Anderson Hospital Guild. Myra attended Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Vagabonds. She showed God's love and caring to all she knew throughout her life. Funeral service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Saturday, October 14th at 11 am. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 to 11 am.
