Nancy L. Gebhart, age 76, passed away on April 14, 2025. Nancy is survived by her devoted sisters, Patricia (Patty), Griffith and Betty Vanover (Denny Mulford).

She leaves behind a large extended family who held a special place in her heart. Proud aunt of William (Julie), Edward, Brian Gebhart, Christine (Sean) Burns, Patricia (Matthew) Buck, Bob (Lisa), Bary, Mike (Janis) Gebhart, David (Amanda) Gebhart, Abbie (Patrick) Frease, Emily (Noah) Hanners, Ashley (Conan) Blakemore, Rick (Amie) Vanover, and Bailey (Travis) Mason; adoring grand-aunt of Jake, Taylor, Andrew, Sierra, Noah, Isaacs, PJ, Maddie, Jack, Ellie, Eli, Nolan, Sam, Mila, Eve, Oona, Rilee, Ryker, Jake, Jaycee, Reese, Nicholas, Katherine, Gwendolyn, Mack; sister-in-law of Mary Ann, Char and Kathy Gebhart.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, William and M. Lucia (nee Menke) Gebhart; brothers, William, J. Robert, and David Gebhart; nephew, Brad Gebhart; niece, Jennifer (Vanover) Hardeman; and her life partner, John Baker. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Michael Griffith, Ricky Vanover, and Tom Straub.

Nancy was born on March 31, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Marian High School, now known as Purcell Marian High School, where she graduated in 1967. She furthered her education at the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 1971. During her college years, she was an active member of the Kappa Delta Sorority.

Nancy enjoyed a fruitful career that showcased her dedication and hardworking spirit. She held positions with notable organizations such as the Girl Scouts of America, Seagram's, Kahn's, US Foods, Hillshire Foods, and Sexton Foods.

Those who knew Nancy would describe her as someone who was always ready to lend a hand, embodying the essence of compassion and selflessness. A vibrant personality, she found immense joy in playing bridge, a hobby she passionately embraced even during her illness. Her love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews, was boundless; she cherished them as if they were her own children, fostering close relationships that will be remembered fondly.

A graveside prayer service will be held on May 5, 2025 at 12PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Hospital or the SPCA.
