Patricia "Pat" Elizabeth Gerard (nee Norris), passed away on Thur. Feb. 10, 2022, at age 82 at Mercy Fairfield Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born Sept. 8, 1939, to Robert Edward Norris Sr., and Leah Patricia Norris (nee Hennessy).
Pat graduated from Withrow High in 1957, married in 1960, and was a homemaker before being employed in the healthcare field for 24 years. She eventually retired to spend more time with her children and grandchildren, for whom her pride knew no bounds.
Pat also enjoyed playing golf, traveling, cross-stitching, and family genealogy.
Pat was devoted to all who knew her. She would do anything for her family. She possessed an immense strength during good times and bad which she shared with and passed on to others.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Michael William Gerard (1963-1977), her twin brother, Robert Edward Norris Jr. (1939-2005), and her son-in-law, William Christopher Sigler (1961-2020).
She is survived by her loving daughters, Patty Sigler and Coleen (Tim) Wening; her adoring grandchildren, Matthew Sigler, Meghan Sigler, Isabel Wening, and James Wening; her affectionate great-granddaughter, Michaela Sigler; and her best friend and constant companion of forty-five years, Carol Von Bokern, also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
