Patrick Joseph Hennekes, age 27 of Cincinnati, died August 12, 2022. He was the beloved son of Nancy Aniskovich and Robert (Ana) Hennekes, devoted brother of Kate (Mike) Theis and Michael Hennekes, and loving grandson of Paul and the late Carol Aniskovich and Margaret and the late Edward Hennekes. He is also survived by his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Patrick had many dimensions. He was well-liked by his peers, teachers, coaches, and made friends in many social groups. He was an artist, musician, poet, and athlete. He was thoughtful, spiritual, kind, gentle, and beautiful, inwardly and outwardly. He was a most caring and loving son and brother, bringing joy and laughter to the family. Patrick graduated from Anderson HS and spent one year at Maharishi University in Fairfield, Iowa. He was an earnest seeker of truth, nature, piety, virtue, peace, and the highest ideals. When he was 20 years old, he was diagnosed with a serious illness, which he struggled with for the last seven years of his life.
Patrick had a life of promise and many gifts. He will be acutely and profoundly missed forever. He was loved by many, and the hole in our hearts may never mend.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, August 20th from 12 to 1:30 pm at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington where a memorial service will immediately follow at 1:30 pm.
