Paul Coates

Paul John Coates, born in Cincinnati, OH on May 11, 1946, to Robert John and Norine (Folzenlogen) Coates, passed away on October 3, 2021. Paul, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly (Bouck). He is also survived by his six children Cindy (Brandon) Lightner, Connie (Chris) Cepluch, Danielle Coates, Matt Coates, Mark Coates and Terry (Katie) Coates, seven grandchildren (Jacob, Tyler, Robert, Sophia, Harvey, Clifford, and Mabel), and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Paul was proud of his children and grandchildren's accomplishments, a loyal Cincinnati Reds and Cyclones fan, member of his local Purple Heart chapter, devoted parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, car enthusiast, and former Snap-On Tools regional salesman. He was a decorated U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and the recipient of two Purple Heart Medals and the Bronze Star Medal. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church on Friday, October 8 at 10:30 am followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
