Paul W. Wiley

Paul Wayne Wiley "Coyote", retired Army CW4, age 75, passed away April 22, 2023, at his home in Taylor Mill, KY, surrounded by his family. Paul is survived by his wife Karen, son Anthony Wiley, sister Rosa (Dan) Dorsey; mother-in-law Betty Miles, sister-in-law Lisa McIntyre, and several nieces and nephews. Paul served in the United States Army & was a Blackhawk pilot with the 101st Comancheros. During his military career he received a National Defense Service Meal, Air Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, & the Army Aviation Badge. Paul was instrumental in organizing a scholarship fund for the A/101 Aviation Association that continues today. After military retirement he continued his career flying helicopters, private planes, & commercial airlines. He was also a Master Mason at Grand Lodge of Kentucky Latonia 746. Paul enjoyed woodworking, fishing, & smoking cigars with his friends. Paul loved his family, friends, comanchero buddies & his dogs. A private service will be held for the family. Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or Samaritan Purse.
