Phillip Tomlinson, we are saddened to share the news that Phil passed from this life, early morning October 30 at the age of 67 in Cincinnati, OH. He was a loving and guiding father to Niko; a supportive and dedicated brother to Perry, Patrick, Peter, Paul, Pam, and Pat; an adoring uncle to many nieces and nephews; a caring and generous friend to so many. He was a thoughtful and kind teacher and leader; a creative polymath skilled in music, carpentry, puzzle box creation, furniture and craft design, and cooking, among other disciplines; a voracious researcher, learner, and reader, endlessly curious about and engaged with the arts, politics, his community, the planet, history, social justice, racial and gender equality, science, business, animals, trees, computers, hiking, nature, spirituality, and finding his purpose in this life. Phil touched so many lives over the years, and became a vital part of all our stories. We relied upon him, trusted him, laughed with him, felt listened to, felt guided and supported by him, felt a friendship and a kinship as he was adept at finding a common thread of humanity to whomever he connected with. He is already so dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 1 at 5 PM and gathering after service from 5:30-6:30 PM at the Cincinnati Civic Garden Center, 2715 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
