Phyllis Jones (nee Burton) born on March 14, 1945 to Edna (nee Johnson) and Dutch Burton;
passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 1, 2024. Phyllis is survived by
her longtime partner, Dennis Cronin, her daughter Holly (Tom) Heming, her granddaughters
Spencer & Emory and her sister Carolyn (Gilbert) Phipps. She was preceded in death by her
parents and her brothers David Burton & Donald Spraker. Phyllis and her family moved to Ohio
from Kentucky in at an early age and she graduated from Amelia High School in 1962. She was
driven to work hard and had a few jobs but her career really took off when she got her real
estate license in 1977. She worked tirelessly and fearlessly, often times around the clock. She
was a perfectionist and this was reflected in her approach to her profession and how she served
her clients, as well as how she lived her life. Keep it Simple and Less is More were two of her
favorite expressions. Her hard work, determination and drive gained her many loyal clients and
friends over the years, along with many awards, often times being named in the top 1% of
Realtors in Greater Cincinnati by the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors and the Ohio Association
of Realtors. She enjoyed traveling to her favorite destinations with Dennis; Nantucket, Chicago
and Hilton Head. She found much joy and happiness spending time with family, especially her
cherished granddaughters, Spencer & Emory. Phyllis leaves behind a legacy of love and
generosity. Her family and friends will miss her deeply. We know she is celebrating her eternal
life with our heavenly Father. A private service was held at TP White Funeral Home. Phyllis was
laid to rest in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
