Phyllis M. Ladd

Phyllis M. Ladd (nee Meyer) of Swayzee, Indiana passed on November 7, 2024, at age 92 in Cincinnati, OH. Beloved wife of the late Donald Ladd and loving mother of Dan (Susan) Magnafichi, Pat Magnafichi and Mark Ladd. Phyllis was born in Wray, CO and also lived in MO, NE, and IN while growing up. She lived the majority of her adult life in IN, including 60 years on their farm in Swayzee. Phyllis was a teacher's aide at Swayzee Elementary for many years. In early adulthood she was an office worker in Chicago, IL and a Dental Assistant in Marion, IN. She enjoyed all types of puzzles and games. She and Donald enjoyed travel and weekly movie dates. Phyllis was also an avid reader and supporter of the Swayzee Public Library. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made by donations to your local public library or to Dementia Society https://www.dementiasociety.org/donate. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
