Zumwalde, Ralph known as Rocky to fellow workers and Buddy to family, 93, of Anderson Twp, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at The Anderson surrounded by family. He was born in Oakley on August 11, 1922. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by parents, Alphonse and Amelia Zumwalde, sister Ruth (late Jack) Cronin, and brother Richard (Juanita) Zumwalde. He is survived by his wife, Mary of 70 years, son, Ralph (Nancy) Zumwalde, daughter, Jean (late Jon) Gelvin, and daughter, Barbara (Dave Tourtelot) Zumwalde, sister Rosemary (late Don) Cazel and sister in law Juanita Zumwalde. In addition, he left behind nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was the beloved son in law to the late Ray and Mary Nott. After high school he served in World War II. After returning home, he worked for the Cincinnati Milling Machine Company then went on to work at the main branch of the United States Postal Service. Visitation/Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Anderson Twp on Friday, May 20, 2016. Visitation will be held from 1-1:30 p.m. with mass following at 1:30p.m. T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to IHM (7820 Beechmont Ave. Cinti, Ohio 45255) or Cincinnati Childrens Hospital (3333 Burnet Ave. Cinti, Ohio 45229).
