Richard Michael Harrington, 66, of Anderson passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 11th, 1956 to Thomas Ignatius Harrington who served with the US Army in Korea from 1951 to 1953 and Marie Vilardo Harrington of Terrace Park. Richard attended Roger Bacon High School where he played the cornet in the Roger Bacon High School band and had the supreme honor of playing with Doc Severinsen at Music Hall. Richard later graduated from Aiken High School and spent the majority of his life in the product development field, founding both Harrington Product Development Center (HPDC) and Invurgency LLC. He was passionate about supporting inventors in following their dreams and bringing their ideas to fruition. He was immensely proud of his Italian heritage and shared this pride with his membership in Fratelli Uniti. Richard loved to spend his time playing golf, cooking, enjoying live music and spending time with his vast community of family and friends.
Richard is survived by his mother, Marie Vilardo Harrington, his brothers Thomas Brad and Robert Joseph Harrington, his former wife Susan Harrington, his children Michael and Kathryn Harrington and Sarah Hayes, and his longtime partner Denise Landa, as well as the devoted Vilardo family of Milford.
Services will be held at TP White & Sons Funeral Home located at 2050 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45230 on April 21st, 2023. A gathering will be held at 4pm followed by the service at 5pm.
