Robert Bess

Bess, Robert L. "Bob", Age 73 of Fairfax, died February 24, 2016. He was the devoted son of the late Archie "Bud" and Louise Ritsch Bess, loving father of Dianna (Steve Karlovetz) Bess, Teresa (Michael) Jones, and the late Robert L. Bess II, cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Jason) Shoemake and Brooke Jones, caring great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Ava, MaKayla, and Cooper, dear brother of Patrica (Charles) Carter and the late Edward Bess. Also survived by a daughter-in-law, Jill Bess, a sister-in-law, Kay Bess, and many nieces and nephews. He was the former owner of Bess Bakery in Madison Place. Bob devoted many years to coaching softball and soccer for the Village of Fairfax. Funeral services will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2:30 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday (Tonight) from 6 to 8 pm. If desired, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati.
