Robert Hill, Jr.

Robert R. Hill, Jr. age 90 of Union Twp., passed away December 15, 2023. He was the beloved son of the late Jeannette and Dr. Robert R. Hill, Sr., beloved father of Lisa S. (James) Gatterdam, James R. Hill, Elizabeth A. Hill, and Susan E. (Greg) Roberto, and caring grandfather of Michael (Alison) Gatterdam and Jacob and Erica Roberto. Bob was born and raised in Mt. Washington. He cherished the time he spent hunting and fishing with his father growing up. He attended The Ohio State University and was a lifelong Buckeye fan. After serving in the Army overseas in Germany, he returned to Cincinnati and worked at The Provident Bank where he retired as a Vice President. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati. Bob enjoyed his summers at Coney Island, playing volleyball and volunteering at his children's swim meets. Bob never met a stranger and was well liked by all. Memorial service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Saturday, January 6th at 2 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday, January 6th from 1 to 2 pm. A private family interment will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
