Robert M. Whalen beloved husband of Margaret "Sis" Whalen (nee O'Connor), devoted father of Mary Sue (Jim) Jackson, Mike Whalen, Tim (Jean) Whalen, Maureen (Kevin) O'Brien, Colleen (Mike) Lohrer, Theresa (Clint Phillips) Whalen, and Peggy (Dan) Simmons, dear brother of Mary Ann Gatio, the late Thomas Whalen, Jackie Ohe, and Kathy Stricker, loving grandfather of Nicholas, Erin (Joe), Patrick (Mikaela), Daniel (Rachel), Eric, Tina (Nate), Jason (Madison), Megan (Pat), Evan, Nolan, and Callie, also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Passed away Dec. 11, 2022, at age 94. Residence Mt. Washington. Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Church, Mt. Washington on Mon. Dec. 19, at 10:30 AM. Friends may visit the Church on Mon. from 9:30-10:30 AM. Memorials to Guardian Angels Church Peanut Butter Sandwich Fund or the Alzheimer's Association. Bob was very devoted to his family, faith, church and his kindness to everyone. Bob served our country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army.
