Sarah K. Spaeth, age 50, resident of Mt. Washington, Ohio, passed away on January 17, 2023.
Sarah was born on June 11, 1972, to David J. Spaeth and the late Carol M. Spaeth. Sarah is survived by her loving family, David & Anne Spaeth, Peggy & Dave Meinhardt, George & Jodi Spaeth, Jean & Chris Carville, as well as her nieces and nephews Tina (Bruce), Danielle (Bill), AJ (Rebecca), Taylor, Hope (Adam), Grace, Adam, Luke, and Kelly, and her great niece and nephew Kaylee and Will.
Sarah was often seen riding the Metro Access bus to work, art classes, Reds games, music events, and never missed a Blessed Union of Souls Cincinnati concert. Sarah would often ask people “did you catch the Reds game last night?”, as baseball season was her favorite time of the year (she took after her Dad in this regard). Sarah loved nothing more than getting autographs from her favorite ball players, and going to Redsfest every year.
During the past 10 years, Sarah discovered a love for drawing & painting, a talent passed down from her Mom. She was able to use pencils, paint, oils and chalk to make beautiful artwork. She was so excited when she sold her first painting at the Vision & Visionaries annual event.
Anyone who knew Sarah would attest to her wicked quick wit and sense of humor. She loved to laugh and make others laugh, regardless of what she was going through. When people visited her to cheer her up, Sarah was the one trying to cheer them up instead! She was the most selfless person you could ever know, always asking about you, your family, the kids, etc. As Sarah became sick toward the end of her life, she was mostly concerned about the people she was leaving behind.
Sarah was a beautiful person inside and out, and will be deeply missed.
Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Church, Mt. Washington, on Tuesday, January 24, at 10:30 AM. Friends may visit at the Church on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30AM.
