Plahovinsak, Sarah (nee Shultz) passed away on March 5, 2016, at the age of 67. She leaves behind John, her beloved husband of 40 years; children Michael Plahovinsak, Lillie Moreno and Jacob Plahovinsak; grandchildren Eve Susan and Stephanie Erma Plahovinsak; mother, Erma Shultz; brother, William Shultz; and sister Ann Morrison. She was preceded in death by her father, Farrell Shultz. She was a 1970 graduate of The Ohio State University and also the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in 1997. She taught at White Plains High School (NewYork) and Balboa High School (Republic of Panama); was a Cooperative Extension Agent for Sandusky County, Ohio; and a receptionist at the Anderson Township Senior Citizens Center. As President of the 95th Division (Training) Family Support Group, she was in charge of the Tinker AFB Memorial Service Reception for the military personnel killed and injured during the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995. She was a member of the Anderson Senior Center Quilters and a life member of Chapter 63 of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA). Her greatest accomplishment in life was raising and seeing all her children graduate college. Her greatest love was quilting with the members at the Anderson Senior Center Quilters and she could always be found with a smile.Visitation will be held at the T.P. White Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave., (Mt. Washington) Cincinnati, Ohio, on Saturday, March 12, from 1 pm to 2:15 pm followed by a brief memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Sarah to Chapter #63 DAVA, 7134 Highland Trail East, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
