Scott Orton

October 5, 1977 — May 4, 2019

Scott Tyler Orton, Ty, passed away unexpectedly on May 4th, 2019. He was 41 years old and was born in
Atlanta, Georgia on October 5th, 1977. Ty is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel Jane Pandorf Orton and
his two daughters, Georgia Catherine Orton,4, and Jolene Rosemary Orton, 20 months. Ty is also
survived by his parents, Scott F. and Paula S. Orton, his brother Ford M. Orton, Ford’s daughter, Avery
Elizabeth Orton, all of Atlanta, Georgia, Rachel’s parents, Jim and Jill Pandorf, Rachel’s siblings: Rebekah
(Adam) Wolf ,and their three children, Lanah, Logan, and Leona, Tim (Jessica) Pandorf, plus many aunts
and uncles from the Cincinnati area.

Ty was a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
with a major in finance. Ty had a long, successful career in the sales and implementation of online
education curriculum. Ty was a devout and committed Christian and follower of our savior Jesus Christ.
He found his deep faith in 2008 and it grew in him for the rest of his loving life. He studied the Bible,
taught and mentored people on their faith journey, and with Rachel, was a member of Faith Bible
Church in Montgomery, Ohio.

Ty was an avid skier and golfer. He enjoyed working out and all outdoor activities. He enjoyed travel,
having studied in Europe during his college years and venturing to Australia and New Zealand, as well as
throughout the United States on business.

Ty was a loving, loyal, and committed husband,father, son, brother, and friend. He was a trusted
confidante, mentor, and spiritual counselor. He was always ready to help others and lived his life
passionately with a sympathetic ear and quiet actions. Ty, as an individual possessed an amazing
charisma which afforded him many lifelong friends from high school, college, and in the Cincinnati area,
all of whom will miss him greatly. Ty had an extraordinarily empathetic heart and a wonderful sense of
humor coupled with quick wit. He loved joking with family and friends. Ty was also an avid fan of Auburn
University athletics, especially Auburn football. War Eagle, Ty!

Ty was buried in a private ceremony on May 9th, 2019 at Rest Haven Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held at Faith Bible Church, 8130 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249 (513-489-1114) on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at 10am, luncheon to follow.
