Sean Hannon

Sean Patrick Hannon, 45, of Chicago, Illinois passed away suddenly from heart disease on August 20, 2024.

Sean is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Ruth Claire McGonigle and Richard and Joan Hannon and his uncle Phil O'Reilly.

Sean leaves behind his loving family; parents Bob and Maureen Hannon, sister Kelly Range (Chris), brothers Rob (Nicole) and Kevin (Samantha Reilly), nieces Katie and Emily Range, uncle Robert Mc Gonigle, cousin Patricia Sullivan, uncle Dan Hannon (Nancy Dana), aunts Brigitte Lee (Jim), Maureen Donovick (Joe) and cousins Dan and Michael Hannon, Heather and Megan Lee and Darcy Mitchell. Sean is also survived by many dear friends in Chicago and Cincinnati. He also leaves behind his puppy Brody Pickles Hannon. 

Sean was a graduate of Archbishop McNicholas High School and The University of Dayton.

Sean loved literature and writing but somehow ended up in data analysis as Sr. Director of Customer Analytics for Albertsons.

Sean was a blessing to many, many people. One of the best testimonies to his character was written to us by his friend Rachel. "Thank you for the gift of Sean to so many of us. We loved him big, and he loved us back. He challenged us to be better, more unique, and kinder. He sent the most inappropriate texts at the most appropriate times to make us smile when we needed it. Sean was the best friend you could ever hope to have and I am so grateful to you all for sharing him with us. The depth of your loss is beyond words. His love for you and his whole family was something he spoke of often. As blessed as you were to be his parents, he was equally blessed to be your son."
