February 28, 1974 — November 20, 2024

Shawn Albert Breehne, 50, of Batavia, Ohio passed away suddenly on November 20, 2024, from heart complications. This loss was completely unexpected leaving family and friends shocked and completely heart broken. He will be truly missed in so many ways.

After graduating high school, and the West Clermont County Career Center Automotive Program with honors, he began his 32-year automotive career working at Honda East of Cincinnati.

Shawn was loving and dedicated to his wife Megan, and two boys Jake and Josh. They were the center of his life, and he gave everything a father could give. Shawn was predeceased by his father Victor Albert Breehne (1945-2024). Shawn is survived by his wife, two boys, as well as his mother Constance, stepmother Doris, Sister Lori Burns (Husband Kevin), Nephew Daniel Burns, Brother Ryan Breehne (Wife Melissa), Aunt Noel Humphrey, Cousin JD Humphrey, Aunt Judy Schlarmann, Cousins Gregg (Annie) Schlarmann, Wendy (Pat) Hayden, Donny (Johana) Schlarmann, Mother-in-Law Deborah Sue Altemeier (Husband David), Sister-in-law Michelle Buckingham (Husband Jim), Niece Cady Berry, Brother-in-law Michael Altemeier, Nephew Jared Altemeier, Niece Kayla Altemeier.

Shawn also loved sports and live music. He was a dedicated fan of the local sports teams as an avid listener of the Reds on radio and as a long-time season ticket holder of the Bengals. For live music, Shawn supported his high school classmates by providing a space to live and practice. He toured with them as a roadie and promoted them as a headliner. He loved watching them live and sharing their passion for heavy metal music.

Shawn had a gift for making everyone feel like family. He consistently wanted to do everything himself and rarely asked for help. He was always available to help friends and family with automotive support and loved working on his beautiful home of 30 years.
