Sue Ann Perry, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio on Tuesday, May 30 at 2:03 AM. Her transition to the other side was how she planned it, surrounded by love and family.
Born on January 17, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Anna Pearl Frotscher and Leonard Carl Frotscher, with sisters Gail Lee Dupler and Dana Lynn Tackett. Married to the love of her life, Charles James Perry, with her beautiful daughters, Caroline Corinne Jarvis and Allison Nicole Barringer. Deeply adored by and affectionately known as "Grandma Sue" by her two handsome grandsons, Jack Charles Barringer and Hudson James Barringer.
Sue was a registered nurse and graduated from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing with her nursing diploma. Sue was one of the best nurses anyone could've ever known with her sweet and caring demeanor. She was compassionate, kind, and selfless, and always went above and beyond to care for others. It is no surprise to anyone that she won many awards for her excellence in nursing.
Sue had many passions in life, not the least of which was her family, beloved pets, babies, and chocolate. She adored spending time with her grandsons and her special snuggle time with Caroline and Allison. She loved traveling and her many adventures with Charlie. Always classy and a little bit sassy, Sue had a quiet, but sparkling personality, and a special way of bringing humor and wisdom into our lives.
We know Sue has transitioned to a far better place where she is no longer in pain, and we know she is looking down on us with that sweet smile and a little twinkle in her eye.
"I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says:
'There, she is gone!'
'Gone where?'
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear the load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: 'There, she is gone!' There are other eyes, watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: 'Here she comes!'
And that is dying..."
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday from 9:00am-10:30am.
