Brown, Sue Ellen (nee Gilkerson) age 69 years went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2013. Loving daughter of the late Fay and 'Chick' Gilkerson, devoted wife of 47 years to James Haydon Brown, loving mother of Stacy Ellis (Robert) Dirr and Adam Sutton Brown, cherished sister of Judith Elaine Harvey and the late Jerald M. Gilkerson, sister-in-law and friend of Bob Harvey, Mary Jane Gilkerson, Sue and Blake Nelson, loving grandmother of Robbie Dirr, loving aunt and friend of Vickie Harvey, Terry (Victor) Edwards, Sandy Conners, Beth (Jake) Clark, Mike (Tracy), Dave (Angie), and Steve Gilkerson, blessed with special great-nieces and great-nephews Jennifer Edwards, Robbie (Jackie) Edwards, Katie Olmstead, Joe Edwards, Matthew Conners, and Zachary Edwards, lifelong friend of Cheryl Tilly Maringer and Carol Robbins Bonniville. Don't grieve for Sue; be happy that she is home with the Lord, her Mom, and her cats. Memorial Service at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Fri. July 19, at 3 PM. Friends may visit on Fri. from 2-3 PM. Interment in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
