Therese Ann Seither (Barker), lovingly known as Terry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024, but most importantly, she lived 77 beautiful years. Loving mother of Joseph Seither and Rosemary Seither, and mother-in-law to Josephs wife, Vicki Seither. Devoted grandmother of Ryan Seither Howard, Matthew March, Isabella Seither, and Parker Seither. She was born on August 10, 1946, in Newport, Kentucky, to Lonnie and Mary Ellen Barker (Kehoe). Terry grew up in a large and loving family, being the third of eleven children. She is survived by her siblings: John Barker (Pat), Bill Barker (Kumiko), Mary Catherine Meyer (Bob), Betty Ridenour (Paul), Ethel Blake (Randy), and Dan Barker (Mandy). She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Dorothy, Ann, Ed, and Jim, and the love of her life, Robert Seither.
Terry married Bob on April 22, 1972, after a blind date arranged through mutual friends. They shared many joyful years together until Bob's passing, just 3 days before her. Terry attended McNicholas High School and later dedicated herself to raising her family and brought warmth and cheer to her children's schools by volunteering. Terry delighted family and friends with her cooking and baking. Her great sense of humor and infectious laugh made her the life of every gathering. Terry had a profound love for animals, especially her cherished horse, Rampage. Her compassion extended to family, friends, and even strangers.
Terry loved a good family party at the farm, bowling, going out on the boat with the family, enjoying a beautiful day with big puffy clouds, and a little too much shopping on QVC. She was a faithful parishioner at IHM for over 50 years, embodying her strong faith and commitment to her community. Her joy for life, outgoing personality, and deep love for her family made Terry a light that drew people to her. She is remembered for her unwavering support of her children and her pride in their achievements. Her dedication to family values and her readiness to help others left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, located at 7820 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45255, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM & a luncheon at 11:00 AM. Terry will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her loving spirit and joyful presence will forever remain in our hearts.
