Thomas Randall Jacobs

Thomas Randall Jacobs, 54, of Cincinnati, OH went to be with our Saviour on September 29, 2021 after a courageous battle with leukemia and COVID-19.

Tom was born in Bloomington, IN and raised in Lima, OH graduating from Lima Senior High School in 1985. He attended Ohio State University and served as a tank commander in the United States Army as well as the National Guard.

He was a 22-yr employee of City BBQ as a catering sales director. Where he shared his ready smile, his love of BBQ and his thorough enjoyment in serving his many clients.

Tom was an avid OSU Buckeyes, Reds, University of Cincinnati Bearcats, Bengals, Yankee and Indiana University Hoosiers fan.

Tom was an active member of Parkside Christian Church and a believer of Jesus Christ. He often said "the most important thing in anyone's life is their salvation" and "God is Great!"

There isn't anyone Tom met that he did not like. One would feel the same after spending just a few moments with him. Always willing to help others at any time. Tom's authentic magnetism is a God-given legacy.

A naturally gifted athlete he especially loved playing golf. He also loved to play euchre and completing crossword puzzles.

Tom is predeceased by his parents Cheryl and Randy Jacobs. He is survived by his sister Julie (Andy) Shaffer, and brothers Tim and Erik (Toria) Jacobs, nieces Aubrey and Zoey, Aunts Kay Baughman, Jennifer Lesh and Uncles Brad Jacobs and Llewelyn Boyd Lesh III.

Tom truly loves the Lord, his siblings, family and friends.

A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held at Parkside Christian Church, 6986 Salem Rd., (Anderson Twp.) Cinti., OH 45230, on Mon. Oct. 11, at 11 AM with a catered reception to follow the service.
