Velma Reed

Velma N. Reed (nee Salyer), age 91 of Union Twp., died January 31, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Reed, devoted mother of Kevin Reed and the late Bruce Reed, loving daughter of the late Stanford and Delia Salyer, and caring sister of the late Rita Ackerman, Irene Salyer, and Clyde Salyer. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Velma and her husband Stanley were the owners of Oakley Creamy Whip and Reed Realty. She was also a member of Sweet Adelines International in the 1970's. Friends may visit at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Saturday, February 5th from 1 to 2 pm. A graveside service will immediately follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery at 2:15 pm.
