Ehas, Vera Lillian, Age 87 of Mt. Carmel, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Forest Hills Care Center. She was born March 13, 1928 in New York City. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Lillian Engel. She is survived by her children Faith Knick (Daniel) and Bruce Ehas (Karen); five grandchildren, Kellie (Michael), Kevin (Jennifer), Amy, Mathew, and Samuel; five great grandchildren, Hayden, Graham, Cameron, Jonathan, and Clara. She was extended special recognition from the Senate of the 120th General Assembly of Ohio for thirty years of loyal and outstanding service to the Clermont County Public Library, beginning her tenure at the Union Township Library and retiring as a service specialist and adult services programmer at the Amelia Branch Library. She was recognized for many years of dedicated service to the Union Township Republican Party. She was a volunteer for years at the Clermont County Senior Services and served for years as president of Public Employees Retirees Inc. She was a contributing member of Forestville Hills Baptist Church. Her hobbies included square dancing and playing the dulcimer. Vera's family would like to thank the staff at Forest Hills Care Center and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care of Vera. At her request, private family services will be held. T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home serving the family.
