Wayne was born on December 18, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio. While driven to succeed with a love of travel, he was foremost a dedicated and devoted family man. Waynes greatest achievement was being a Father to two great children, who both successfully pursued two of his passions in life , aviation and business. As an accountant, Wayne applied that knowledge and ability into the development of a career in commercial real estate and other entrepreneurial ventures. His kind spirit and genuine demeanor attracted people wherever he went, Wayne never met a stranger and always welcomed you with witty humor and warm conversation. He was loving, generous, confident, honest, fair and always a source of strength and wisdom.
Wayne was involved in various volunteer opportunities over the years. At Parkside Christian Church, he was at one time a member of the Choir, served as a greeter, volunteered at the East End Outreach Pantry, and was a member of the Finance Committee. He had the privilege of accompanying other members of Parkside Christian Church to two life enhancing mission trips to Ukraine. He and Diane enjoyed many years as being Costume Managers for Tall Stacks. He enjoyed time spent as a volunteer at the Greater Cincinnati International Airport with the USO. That association also led to him being a part of many of the Honor Flight return home ceremonies. He was a faithful follower of the ForestAires, a local womens choral group, for whom he was behind the camera and shining the spotlight at many Encore performances over the years. He was a charter member of the Anderson High School Class of 54 lunch bunch, a group of childhood buddies who gathered at Salem Gardens for lunch every Wednesday for over thirty plus years.
His generosity continues beyond his passing as he donates his physical self to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for the purpose of medical research and training.
