William "Bill" Schroeder, devoted husband to Jackie (nee Davis) passed away at his home on January 13, 2024 at the age of 76. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Edna Schroeder and siblings Mary and Ray. He is survived by his wife and his brother Dan, children Laurie (Steve) Taylor and Brad (Lorry) Schroeder, nieces and nephews. He was a loving grandfather to Landen, Emily, Carmen, and Jack.
Bill grew up in Elmwood Place, Ohio and graduated from Roger Bacon High School. Soon after, he served in Vietnam as an Air Force Security Police Officer. He was an active member of the VFW Post 3954 in Batavia, OH.
During and after retirement from the HVAC industry, Bill enjoyed photography, fishing, model trains, vintage cars, landscaping, spending time with his grandchildren, and watching westerns on television.
A private celebration of life will be held by family members at a later date. Donations in Bill's memory can be made to VFW Post 3954 located at 4070 Greenbriar Road Batavia, OH 45103.
