William A. Hill "Bill"

William A. Hill “Bill” age 81 of Anderson Township, beloved husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, friend and coach passed away August 10, 2024 surrounded by family after courageously battling Parkinson’s Disease for over 15 years. He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Hill (née Crockett) and father H. Douglas Hill, II.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jan (née Blersch). He is survived by their children Susan Pierce (Jim), Jim Hill (Vicki), and Linda Brown (Jeff). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren; Tyler Meyer (Elena), Brad Pierce (Samantha), Mitch Pierce (Beth), Maddie Pierce, Jessie Pierce, Sam Hill, Sophie Brown, Emberlin Frazer, Nellie Pierce and Nico Pierce. He is also survived by his brother Douglas Hill (Brenda) and cousin Judith Kapfer (Richard).

Bill will always be remembered for his friendship, loyalty, love and advice. He was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He owned and operated W.A. Hill & Associates, a trailblazer in the IT industry, Pioneer Pizza and The Quencher Drive-Thru. He loved house boating on Lake Cumberland, coaching youth sports, physical fitness, and his many pets. He held a black belt in Taekwondo which he earned late in life. Most of all, he could always be counted on to come to the rescue for anyone. Bill loved to entertain and was always the life of the party.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday August 20th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM immediately followed by a memorial service at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington.
