William F. Judd peacefully passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 87. William was the beloved husband of Darlene H. Judd who preceded him in death. He was the loving father of William M. Judd, II (Brenda) Grandfather to William C. Judd (Abigail) and David J. Judd (Sydney Johnson) and Great-Grandfather to William Michael Judd and Elliana Louise Judd.
William was born and raised in Anderson Township and attended Anderson High School and Miami University. After marrying Darlene, he lived in Newtown and served on the village council for many years including several terms as Mayor.
He had a passion for the river that started at an early age and continued his entire life. He was very much a family man. He was fortunate to combine his passion for the river and his family into a successful river business. Judd Marine operated for over 50 years. He was active in numerous river related organizations. He was especially proud to serve on the Sons & Daughters of Pioneer Rivermen Board of Governors for thirty-two years, with several terms as chairman.
William had a very fulfilling life and through his integrity and love for his wife and family left an everlasting imprint on our lives.
Services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family.
