Willian Cole

William A. Cole passed away April 10, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born September 12, 1924 in Candler, NC. He was married June 11, 1949 to his beloved wife of 58 years, Ruth, who preceeded in death in 2007. His parents were the late Jesse Austin Cole and Aldine Creasman Cole. One sister, Hazel Cole Stark preceeded him in death. He retired as V.P. of sales at Cincinnati Milacron. A resident of Anderson Township and a member of Anderson Hills United Methodist Church for 45 years. He is survived by his two sons, Dr. William A. Cole, Jr. (Marti), Dr. John R. Cole (Stephanie), grandchildren; Ben, Matthew, Bryn, Nathan and Maya Cole. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending time in NC at his family farm and his Outer Banks cottage. He also belonged to the Masons and Scottish Rite for over 50 years. He served in the Navy in WW11. He was a graduate of NC State University. Services will be held Monday, April 14th at 3pm with visitation starting at 2pm. at Anderson Hills United Methodist Church, 7515 Forest Rd., Cincinnati, 45255. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts may be made to the \" Missions Fund\" at Anderson Hills United Methodist Church. T.P. White and Sons are the serving the family. Graveside services will be at 2pm, Wednesday, April 16 at Montmorenci United Methodist Church in Candler, NC Montgomery Lodge 94 F.&A.M. Lodge & Scottish Rite Ring Service at the Church on Monday at 3 P.M.
